No matter the breed, discipline, or intended use of your horse, the initial months of training significantly shape its entire career and future. Our approach, involving round penning, groundwork, and thorough preparation, ensures that our colts transition smoothly to work under saddle. This method accelerates their learning curve and prepares them to excel at advanced maneuvers. Ultimately, it provides them with a solid foundation that will serve them throughout their lives.
If your horse exhibits aggression, overreaction, or dangerous behavior, or if it simply doesn't behave as desired on the ground or under saddle, we're here to assist you! These issues often stem from miscommunication or a lack of foundational training. Some problems may seem minor, like difficulty standing still for mounting, resistance while leading, or pulling back when tied. Others, however, can escalate into dangerous behaviors such as bucking, bolting, rearing, striking, spooking, or biting.
With our expertise, skills, and extensive experience, we can address these issues effectively while also empowering the owner to maintain a safe and cooperative equine partner.
Looking to enhance your horse's training and refine your horsemanship skills? Let us assist you in cultivating the body control and suppleness essential for executing advanced maneuvers such as leg yielding, side-passing, two-tracking, collection, shoulder control, and lead changes.
